2010 Harley-Davidson Cross Bones™

It won’t take an evil genius to morph this motorcycle deep into the Dark Side – ordinary mad genius will suffice. The Cross Bones™ harkens to hardtails of yore – when bikes got stripped of excess weight, the parts pawned for gas or party at some Rockabilly Roadhouse. But it rides smooth with Softail family suspension – the naked rear-end no-springs look perfected by H-D over a quarter century ago. Looks rigid but rides so nice – try riding a rigid down the Ike – forget it. The Cross Bones™ can roll out to Starved Rock, the Dunes, the Palisades or just down Belmont or Archer for a lark.

Being a Softail®, there’s a plethora of available parts – mix & un-match to the max. It doesn’t take much; on this bike less is more. From the single sprung seat (hey, take no prisoners) to old-school Springer forks & mini Apes, this bad-ass machine is out there ripping up the lonesome road. Don’t wait for spring, ride mercilessly into it. C’mon in & we’ll discuss custom ideas that’ll knock your baby’s bobby sox right off.
